Second Annual Charity Golf Day – Castlegate in the Community
Castlegate Financial Management hosted their second annual Charity Golf Day tournament for clients and their guests at Sleaford Golf Club.
48 competitors took part in a Pairs Betterball Stableford competition, featuring a Shotgun start with all players on the course at the same time. The course was in perfect condition and provided all teams with an opportunity to score well. This became clear to see when the scores were counted, with four teams coming in with 44 points.
Dave and James Brownlow, a father & son team, took 5th place. In 4th was Geoff Borril and Tom Foreman. Our guest team from Duncan & Toplis, Mark Foster and Matt Lawson, secured 3rd place. Our runners up were James Moore and his guest, Tom Lord.
We are proud to report the winners of the 2023 Castlegate Charity Golf Day were brothers Rob and Steve Gibbons, who scored a magnificent 45 points. Congratulations to them from the team at Castlegate.
After the competition, our guests and team members enjoyed a fantastic carvery in the Clubhouse, which was followed by a presentation of prizes. This concluded a very enjoyable day, with total funds of £1,200 being raised and donated to the following charities:

Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA)
Hedgehog Rescue Centre Peterborough
